Park It

Sunday was actually nice out so Miles and I spent some time at the park across the street. Well actually the sports field of Reed college. There's trees and grass so it's close enough to a park.

A strawberry farmer on the news yesterday said his wife is calling June- Junuary and I loved it. Since hearing it I have repeated Junuary over and over in my head, even said it out loud while walking Miles or wandering around the house. Junuary. Junuary. Junuary.

There is no better way to sum up this spring.

He was a happy strawberry farmer because I guess 40 sum years ago or something like that he planted this certain strawberry that will ripen with out sun light- or something along those lines.

All the other strawberries are going to be coming on slower as well as the cherries and probably every other yummy thing that should be readily available for us to purchase at our local farmers markets. When they do arrive they say there will be limited amounts and we will probably have to pay a higher price for them.

This Weekend

Well we didn't make it to the baby mega mall- I did register on line so that is taken care of.

We put up the little guys crib and it really hit home that he will be here before we know it. Here's a little peek....

looking at his stuff animal collection you might think it's a girls crib. His Nana sent him a doll saying that all boys should have at least one doll (which happens to be pink) and a pink pig that Josh got me for valentine's day this year! There are a couple of blue things in there.

Here's the belly at week 28. I looked back at the last photo I took and it doesn't look that much different. Maybe a bit bigger.
Again it's not the best photo since I took it myself.
