Preserves

I have been wanting to do some canning but not wanting to do it alone.  I have a friend who does it often so I was able to do some pickles with her this weekend.

Dill and Spicy Dill.  It was a lot of fun and way easier than I thought it was going to be.  I should have taken some photos of the process.  It was quite the assembly line so there wasn't a lot of time for photos.

Hope to do spicy green beans and salsa down the road.

Have been able to put Blueberries and Raspberries in the freezer for smoothies this winter.  This is the first time I froze Raspberries.  I did lay them out on a cookie tray first so they wouldn't get all mashed when going into the bag.
I wish I would have gotten on top of it and got some strawberries frozen.  Oh well next year!
